Privacy
Short version: I collect what you send me and a count of visits. I don't sell any of it.
What the request forms collect
Whatever you type into it: your name, phone, email, county, acreage band, the answers about your land or your organization, and any note. The form also records how you arrived (for example, from a postcard link or a search) so I know which of my efforts reach people. Submissions are stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and copied into my own business records. I use them to answer you and for nothing else.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and pages read, plus a few actions: taps on the phone and email links, which services people open, video plays, and whether the Bee Tax Calculator was used, with the county and a rough acreage range but never the numbers you type. It is set up without Google Signals or advertising features. I don't use session recordings, heatmaps, fingerprinting, or anything that follows one visitor around.
Postcard and printed-link visits
When you arrive from one of my printed pieces, such as the postcard's QR code, the site sends me a short note that a postcard visit happened: the time, the page you landed on, the kind of device (a phone or a computer), and later whether you used the Bee Tax Calculator or sent a request. It never includes your name, your address, or anything you type into the calculator or a form. The notes go to a private Google Sheet in my business account.
Videos
Videos on this site come from YouTube. They load in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and only after you press play. Before that, nothing is sent to YouTube.
Patreon
Patreon is a separate service with its own privacy policy. If you join, Patreon shares your name and email with me, as it does with every creator.
Phone calls and texts
The phone number on this site is a Google Voice number that rings through to me. Google Voice keeps a record of calls and texts, and voicemails are transcribed.
Never sold
I don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing.
Deleting your information
Email nate@exleyapiary.com and ask. I'll delete what I have and tell you when it's done.
